Today We are going to review on Ugreen 9-in-1 Docking Station: for pro connectivity. After Reviewing Ugreen’s 13-in-1 USB C Triple Display Docking Station and other products of ugreen.They were great products.Now lets see where their Ugreen 9-in-1 Docking Station stands.
As the name suggests, the 9-in-1 USB-C Docking System Doesn’t having much like the 13-in-1.But things are diffrent with price, where the 9-in-1 docking station does comes at a lower price than the 13-in-1. So if you are interested in either one of them be sure to have look on the price caps.

The Ugreen 9-in-1Docking Station Doesn’t have many ports but the connectivity it has is pretty impressive.

The dock only supports two displays, meaning you can only two of the four display outputs.that makes the docking system more flexible but it also makes 9-in1 station a bit stretchy.anyways, the flexiblity is aways the good part. surprisingly, all the connectivity is 10Gbs. This is very welcome given that there are only three USB ports available for peripheral devices.
We would have loved to see the faster etehernet on the docking station. there actually quite commoditized now with 2.5 gb ethernet controllers costing less than 10 USD .So,the only thing enabling network equipment manufacturers to charge absurd amounts of money for even unmanaged 2.5Gb switches is the fact that greater than gigabit ethernet connectivity in consumer-grade goods is still a rarity.
Ugreen 9-in-1 Docking Station First Impressions:
That Packaging Featuo thrrres a fairly plain print and to to flashy. inside the box also the simplicity continues as we continue to unbox. The packaging is quite safe ,so the packaging is something i appreciate.the box contains there is the docking station .a 100W- capable USB Type-C to Usb -C cable, and a user manual.
The docking station is slim and flat, which is in contrast to the Ugreen 13-in-1 docking station . Further distinguishing these two docking stations, and highlighting their respective statures, is that, unlike the 13-in-1 and its tendency to tip over, the 9-in-1 sits low and stable. the docking station provide good service as compared to other USB docking stations.
the outside or the exterior is somewhat matte finish aluminium with heavy and strong feeling that gives an impression of quality.the design side is ,overall similar to professional settings.i believe that the triangular -shaped air vents on the sides are a bit too heavy for the business appeal, but the low profiles covers this up.like Ugreen’s 13-in-1 docking station does not provide a power supply with 9-in-1 .where this is much understandable at the price of 9-in-1,as the name suggest’s is intended to be stationary, so there isn’t a need for a smart USB PD Power supply when a cheaper standard 12v or 24v DC barrel jack input could be used instead.
After Using Ugreen 9-in-1Docking Station:
i had been using Ugrenn’s 13-in-1 docking station for a quite a while now up until i recieved Ugreen’s 9-in-1 docking station.it was worth the money and it has been completely trouble-free and was an upgrade from the white-label USB Type C hub with power passthrough i had been using before that.
After I unboxed the Ugreen 9-in-1 dock station ,i immediately swapped it with my other docking station. It worked immediately. It would appear that the DisplayLink drivers required for the 9-in-1 and 13-in-1 are the same.And when i plugged it into my PC it took only few seconds for it to work properly.that being said it depends on your operating system and other factors also.at the end i had great experience with 9-in-1 docking station
My first and only complaint regarding the docking station is an echo of my past gripes with connectivity in general listing.
Overall Review:
Although having some complaints it does work fine by me. it has many features that other USB docking systems lack and it gives us great experience by working smoothly. talking about its built quality ,first time i held it it felt sturdy and well built despite that it was great experienced reviewing it.
